Light at the end of tunnel ...

Trying to make my automated test boot work more reliably once and for all, but I can only progress ahead at a snails pace. Problem is that dependencies exist between test executables that otherwise work just fine independently. Additionally they are too dependent on constantly changing external world for being called just unit testers. I’m growing more and more convinced that using mocks to replace all such dependencies is the solution, also starting to understand why without true TDD is difficult create testable software.
